during the "golden age" of television animation.

He founded Hal Seeger Productions in New York,

which became a significant independent studio

in the 1960s.

Key Animated Works:

Seeger is most famous for creating and

producing several iconic

Saturday morning cartoons

about a gentle, Frankenstein-like monster

who was created with too

much "tincture of tenderness."

The Milton the Monster Show about an

ordinary fly who becomes a superhero

when he puts on a pair of high-powered

glasses.
